High Schoolers, looking for Bright Futures Hours? Volunteer on our Build Sites!

Whether you a retired skilled laborer, a current construction professional, or a High School student completing Bright Futures hours for college - Habitat Seminole-Apopka has opportunities for you! You can learn new skills or hone skills you already have, all the while giving back to our community.
Our construction volunteers contribute to our building projects by framing walls, installing soffits and fascia, raising trusses, and many other things. Even if you don't have experience with the particular activity of the day, don't worry! Our skilled and knowledgeable Site Supervisors will teach you everything you need to know. No need to bring your own tool either - though you can if you prefer - as we will provide everything necessary.
To volunteer please go to habitatseminoleapopka.org/volunteer and click "Sign Up For A Build Day" to sign up for a day and location that works best for you. Orientations are first thing in the morning (8:00 am) when everyone arrives at the build site. Just show up on time and we will show you all you need to know!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Any volunteer under 18 years old must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian before you can do any volunteer hours with us. Download and print our waiver (https://habitatseminoleapopka.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/2021-Waiver.pdf) and make sure your parent or guardian signs it before you come in for orientation or your first day on the construction site.
