Sew a Memory Bear - Osceola County

Are you 55 or older and like to sew? Volunteer today to create special memory bears to help bring comfort and healing to families. The Cornerstone Hospice Bear in Mind volunteers craft bears from garments once one by the patient, such as a favorite dress, sweater, or shirt. Once you have received training, you can work from home to create these special bears.

RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with Cornerstone Hospice to recruit volunteers for this amazing program. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Our volunteer support services are 100% free!

Contact Volunteers for Community Impact to learn more about the benefits of volunteering through RSVP!
