Orange County - Administrative Assistance Needed

Administrative assistance is needed for two non-profit organizations, housed in the same building, SDA Elderly Care and Charity & Love.

Charity & LoveThe goal of this organization is to empower all community members toward self-sufficiency, enable children in our communities to live in supportive environments that maximizes their potential for development and success, support members of our communities who are elderly and/or disabled to live in supportive environments that maximize their potential for health, dignity and respect, and increase community connectivity and eliminate individual and family isolation. For over 13 years Charity and Love has helped thousands of people with life related solutions, yet one thing has remained, our pledge to serve through Charity and Love.

As public services have been reduced in recent years, church and community-affiliated organizations have stepped up to provide for underserved communities. Unfortunately, information about these community-based services is not centralized, but scattered community-wide. We have easy-to-find locations and up-to-date information where we provide assistance with finding services to meet your needs.

SDA Elderly Care SDA Elderly Care is a one stop-shop registry referral service for seniors with needs. We provide rapid rehousing for seniors, disabled and veterans since 2014 along with many other services to include but not limited to, facility referrals, resources, and low-income housing. Our housing rentals starting as low as $500.00 per month to include utilities. We network with Housing Providers, Assisted Living Facilities, SNF, Doctor's Offices, Managed Care, Homeless Shelters, and over 200 social services.

These organizations provide the necessary training for each volunteer position. VCI's part in this opportunity is to provide volunteers who are 55+ with a (free) comprehensive benefits package (inclusive of accident, personal liability and automobile liability insurance, a life Insurance benefit, free workshops and more) during the hours that you volunteer!

Please contact the RSVP Manager over Orange County for more information: 407-298-4180, x 113 / rsvp.orange@vcifl.org. RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation of National and Community Service.
