Morning Home-bound Delivery Shift
We have thousands of families looking to us for HOPE in the form of a food box all across Tampa Bay. This opportunity is to provide special assistance to those families that are home-bound. Your vehicle will be loaded with food boxes and then you will receive a route with families in need across Tampa Bay.

COVID-19: In response to the health & wellness of our clients and volunteers we are following all CDC guidelines for social distancing, sanitation, and masks while volunteering. As such masks are required for all volunteers and if you do not have one, one will be provided for you.
Driving: This volunteer opportunity will involve utilizing your own vehicle to transport the meals, this is done so on a purely voluntary basis but is required for this specific opportunity. We recommend bringing a passenger for safety purposes but passengers SHOULD NOT sign up, instead, they will get a waiver upon arrival.
Minimum Age: Because of the sensitive nature of this task and the requirement of driving, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Dress Code: Please be sure to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES, long pants, and a MetroMin t-shirt.
Parking: You can park in our large parking lot at 4721 Transport Drive, Tampa FL 33605, directly in front of the Metropolitan Ministries Food Warehouse. This is located at a warehouse park and our warehouse is #5.
Check-In: Look for the Metropolitan Ministries sign and take the entrance up the stairs and to the main building.
Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
