Afternoon Off-Site Warehouse Shift
The Warehouse Afternoon Volunteer Opportunity is located at our Off-Site Food Warehouse. This volunteer opportunity includes sorting incoming donations as well as building Boxes of Hope for distribution. Boxes of Hope contain non-perishable food items that are then given to families in need.

COVID-19: In response to the health & wellness of our clients and volunteers we are following all CDC guidelines for social distancing, sanitation, and masks while volunteering. As such masks are required for all volunteers and if you do not have one, one will be provided for you.
Dress Code: Please be sure to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES, long pants, and a shirt with sleeves (jeans and short sleeve t-shirts are great; no tank tops).
Parking: You can park in our large parking lot at 4721 Transport Drive, Tampa FL 33605, directly in front of the Metropolitan Ministries Food Warehouse. This is located at a warehouse park and our warehouse is #5.
Check-In: Look for the Metropolitan Ministries sign and take the entrance up the stairs and to the main building.
Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
