Public Evacuation Shelter, Food Service Coordinators
Food Service Coordinators -
- Transfer food from cafeteria to classroom buildings
- Serve food in cafeteria (comparable to child's lunch line)
- Sheltered residents will be called by groups to ensure social distancing
Shelter Location:
Shelters are located throughout the county. Shelters will not open for every storm, so assignments may vary.
Schedule:
Sign up for 12-hour shifts: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. - 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Shelter volunteers will report to the assigned site 15 minutes before the start of the shift.
Additional information:
Must be 18 years of age. Volunteers will be assigned to General Population Shelters only. No volunteer will be asked to assist Special Needs Shelters or Pet-Friendly Shelters.
