Supporting Habitat for Humanity's ReStore = Supporting Your Community!

However, we need the help of volunteers now more than ever!
You don’t have to swing a hammer to help families in need achieve a safe and affordable place to call home! Whether you are looking to complete community service hours, give back to the community, or get out of the house for a bit and make some new friends - we have the opportunity for you!
Our ReStore is a furniture and construction overstock thrift store that directly raises money for our home building fund. Volunteers at our ReStore greet and help customers, sort donations, set up displays, stage furniture, and work on any number of other projects to help our ReStore run smoothly and successfully.
Help is needed Sundays 10AM-6PM, Tuesdays 9AM - 4PM, and Wednesdays-Saturdays 9AM-5PM.
To volunteer you will need to attend an orientation. To find a date and sign up, go to https://habitatseminoleapopka.org/volunteer/ and click "Sign Up For An Orientation." We are currently offering orientations twice a week - Saturday mornings at 9AM and Thursday evenings at 5PM. For the purposes of social distancing we are not accepting drops ins for the orientations, so you must sign up ahead of time by following the above link. After you've completed your orientation you are welcome to start volunteering right away, however it fits into your schedule.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Any volunteer under 18 years old must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian before you can do any volunteer hours with us. So regardless of whether you are volunteering at the ReStore or on the Construction site, download and print our waiver ( https://habitatseminoleapopka.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/2020-Waiver-Form-Fill.pdf) and make sure your parent or guardian signs it before you come in for orientation or your first day on the construction site.
