Dear Volunteers,
Our thoughts are with you whether you are assessing property damage and loss or responding to Hurricane Ian’s unprecedented force here in Bonita and nearby.
As so much of the area, the Wonder Gardens received extensive damage in the storm. Fortunately, our animals are doing well for the most part,
Tomorrow, the heavy work of debris removal and clean up will begin, along with support jobs.
If you find yourself in a place to offer assistance, we welcome you and any friends or family who can lend a hand to join us beginning each day at 9 am.
If you can join us, please….
-wear solid work boots or other foot gear
-bring good work gloves and a rake if you have them
-bring a reusable water bottle
-make other arrangements if you have children (adults only please)
- bring snacks/lunch
Alternatively, if you would like to support staff and volunteers with refreshments/lunch, please let me know.
