Post-Hurricane Ian Clean-Up Days Tuesday and Wednesday, 10/11 and 10/12/22
As with so much of the area, the Wonder Gardens received extensive damage in the storm. Fortunately, we're well on our way to recovery.
If you find yourself in a place to offer assistance, we welcome you and any adult friends or family members who can lend a hand to join us, beginning at 9 am.
Due to safety concerns, all on-site volunteers must be 18 years old or older.
Most work, currently, is horticultural and some cleaning.
If you can join us, please…
-wear good work boots or solid shoes
-wear good work gloves and bring a rake if you have them
-bring a reusable water bottle
-bring a snack/lunch
-wear insect repellent and sunscreen
Alternatively, if you would like to provide refreshments or lunch for volunteers and staff, please let us know.
