Comfort and Hygiene Support Stations
We are seeking volunteers for the Comfort and Hygiene Support Station in Hillsborough County. You will play a crucial role in aiding those affected by Hurricane Helene with tasks including greeting individuals at the check-in table, collecting and sharing basic information. You'll also sort and organize donations, assemble hygiene kits, and help with meal and clothing distribution, guiding individuals to find what they need while fostering a welcoming environment. Throughout your shift, you’ll engage with community members, listen to their stories, and offer encouragement, helping to build a sense of connection among those facing challenges. At the end of the day, you’ll assist with clean-up to ensure the space is ready for continued support. Your compassion and dedication will make a significant difference in the lives of those seeking comfort during this difficult time. Thank you for being part of this vital effort!
