Phone Agent - Disaster Services
Become a volunteer with Gulf Coast Partnership and Crisis Cleanup - we are seeking remote/at home phone agents to help homeowners following a disaster. Volunteers will take calls, return calls, register cases in an online database, and provide brief, written updates on cases in the online system.
Crisis Cleanup is a nationwide organization matching volunteers with homeowners in need at disaster locations across the country. Your experience helping people in other places will be valuable when a disaster hits our local area and you can assist locally, in the same way.
Volunteers for this role will complete paperwork with Gulf Coast Partnership and then take online training at the Crisis Cleanup website.
Volunteers should have excellent listening skills, compassion, and accuracy with recording information. Volunteers will need to have a computer, internet access, a current web browser (such as Edge, Chrome, or Firefox for website compatability), and a phone. All outgoing phone calls are disguised, homeowners will NOT have access to your personal phone number.
