Meal Delivery for Housebound Seniors

Are you interested in making a direct impact on seniors in your community? Meals on Wheels PLUS is seeking meal delivery drivers, including permanent weekly drivers, substitute weekly drivers, and substitute drivers. With 55 routes Monday through Friday, Meals on Wheels PLUS provides a hot, nutritous meal to over 600 seniors daily in Manatee County.
Meal Delivery takes place from 10:45-1:45 Monday through Friday, but typically takes about an hour and a half to complete a route, depending on its size.
Children seeking volunteer opportunities with Meals on Wheels PLUS are encouraged to join a parent or family member over the age of 18 and assist with meal delivery.
Volunteers must pass a Level I Background Check to be eligible for meal delivery.
