Meal Delivery for Homebound Seniors
Are you interested in making a direct impact on seniors in your community? Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee is seeking meal delivery drivers, including permanent weekly drivers, substitute weekly drivers, and substitute drivers. With over 70 routes Tuesday through Friday, Meals on Wheels PLUS provides nutritious meals and a friendly smile to approximately 600 seniors in Manatee County.
Meal Delivery takes place from 10am and 2pm Tuesday through Friday, but typically takes about an hour and a half to complete a route, depending on its size.
Children seeking volunteer opportunities with Meals on Wheels PLUS are encouraged to join a parent or family member who is over the age of 18 and assist with meal delivery.
Volunteers must pass a Background Check to be eligible for meal delivery.
