3rd Annual Strides for Sight Awareness Walk
Vision Is Priceless is a nonprofit organization that provides free vision services to the Northeast Florida area. We are excited to invite the members of our community to attend our third annual Strides For Sight Awareness Walk to raise money to support our free vision care services.
WHY WE WALK
Eye health is something we often take for granted. For more than 45,000 children and adults in Northeast Florida, their vision care needs are met thanks to Vision Is Priceless and many generous donors and volunteers.
The walk will bring attention to the importance of vision health and ensure the underserved has access to eye care.
WHEN WE WALK
On Saturday, November 23, 2019. Check in and activities begin at 8:00 AM. Walk start time is 9:00 AM. Rain or shine!
WHERE WE WALK
Riverside Park in Jacksonville's Five Points neighborhood.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Registration is FREE and open to whoever is ready to join the fun! You can walk as an individual OR as a team. You pick whatever works the best for you!
Individual: Walk alone or encourage your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to walk with you. You can inspire the people around you to donate by making the first donation to your name.
Team: You can join a team or create one. Your team can be the name of the company that you own or work for, your school, or whatever you and your friends come up with! Have fun with it! Every member of your team participates in the walk to celebrate the importance of eye health and to help ensure the underserved has access to vision care.
