Opportunity for Veterans and Military History Buffs! - Kissimmee
Veterans and military history buffs: this volunteer opportunity is for you! The Museum of Military History needs help in the following areas:
- cataloging donations, especially old photographs and military ribbons
- tour guides and storytellers
- administrative support
Share your experience of service and knowledge of the military while helping the Museum of Military History fulfill their mission to educate, increase awareness, build knowledge and understanding of the American military experience through interactive, interpretive exhibits designed for visitors of all ages.
RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with the Museum of Military History to recruit volunteers for this amazing program. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service. Our volunteer support services are 100% free!
