School Volunteer - Poinciana
BridgePrep Academy of Osceola is a magnet school within the Osceola County School District. Join the staff and teachers in working toward their mission to foster a nurturing and rigorous academic environment that embraces the Spanish culture and language, incorporates innovative technology, and promotes civic responsibility that will prepare students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens in our society. Volunteers are needed to: ~manage reward systems ~reading with students ~assisting with math ~leading small groups through an activity within the classroom Volunteers will never be left alone with any children or in charge of any classroom. RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with many nonprofit organization in Osceola County to recruit volunteers for this amazing program. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
