COVID-19 Restaurant Initiative
During the COVID-19 crisis we are partnering with local restaurants in the counties we serve (Hernando,Sumter, Lake and Polk) to provide restaurant style meals to seniors 60 and older, free of charge. we are looking for volunteer drivers to pick up the meals at the restaurants and transport them to the seniors homes. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Our agency practices all safety standards set forth by the CDC.
