Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Volunteer - Pinellas County
Each day, the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program represents the best interests of thousands of Florida's children in the court and community. Through the collaboration of a multi-disciplinary team that includes a trained volunteer, attorney, and certified child advocate manager, our team provides quality legal representation for the best interests of abused, neglected, and abandoned children while assisting the child in expressing their needs and wishes. Our unique approach allows us to support the whole child, addressing their physical, educational, mental, emotional, social, and legal needs. Our volunteers become people our children can trust, helping us be their voice. As a team together, we provide powerful and effective advocacy with one goal in mind: that every child finds a safe, loving, permanent home where they can thrive. You can be a part of Florida's award-winning child advocacy organization and make a difference in a child's life. If you have a heart to help these kids, the ability to learn, and time during the month to give, you could be a good fit for our Program. If this speaks to your , contact us at 727-647-1858 or email rachel.villarreal@gal.fl.gov.
