Tour de Cure at Lake Nona

The American Diabetes Association-Orlando Chapter is delighted to presents Tour de Cure on Sunday, March 29th at the Lake Nona Town Center in Orlando. 

Tour de Cure is an event where no matter what road you take, you will be joining others from our community that has the same passion as you. Participants have a choice of routes that encompass everything from a family-friendly 10-mile to a challenging 101-mile route and an exciting 5K course. This event will attract over 2,500 participants and volunteers that either have diabetes or know someone affected by this devastated disease.

There are many volunteering opportunities available at the event, starting with pre-event set up on Saturday, March 28th from 10 AM - 5 PM and on Sunday, March 29th, event day many shift and assignments available starting at 5:00 AM, some assignments are, but not limited to:

  • Registration – 5:30 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Volunteer Check-In – 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Recognition Tent – 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (shifts available)
  • Parking – 6:00 AM – 9:30 AM
  • Cheering – 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (shift available)

This is a perfect opportunity for students needing community service hours or just looking to give back to their community.
