Deliver Hot, Nutritious Meals to Homebound Seniors

In this role volunteers deliver hot, nutritioius meals to homebound Neighborly clients in Pinellas County. The volunteer interacts with both clients and the Site Coordinator in a friendly and respectful manner following all Neighborly policies and procedures, and maintaining client privacy at all times. The Volunteer keeps in contact with the Site Coordinator throughout their shift as appropriate. They must also communicate the clients needs and or problems to Neighborly staff.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years old+, have a valid drivers license, appropriate automobile insurance, and a reliable, clean automobile. Must be able to read maps and work well with people. Must be able to deliver meals and climb stairs, as needed. Background screening required.

Orientation: is usually held at our administrative offices at 13945 Evergreen Avenue, Clearwater, FL, however, volunteers will have eight locations throughout Pinellas County from which to choose. Locations include Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg (2), and Gulfport.
