We are a part of a national force devoted to solving the cruel mystery of lupus while providing caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact. Every day, nearly 2 million Americans struggle with the debilitating and disabling health effects of lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and tissue damage to virtually every organ system in the body. Unfortunately, two out of three Americans know little or nothing about lupus or its tell-tale symptoms. Why is awareness of lupus important to people in our community? To save lives!
The goal of this event is to help connect our community to important resources available from local businesses, non-profit organizations, healthcare facilities and so much more. The expo will feature demonstrations, nutrition education events, free screening, alternative health and wellness professionals, interactive promoting fitness and health, family services, senior services, and guest speakers.
