Marion County Search and Rescue
Mission Statement Marion County Search and Rescue Inc. was establish in December of 2013. The Team is an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501C-3 organization serving Law Enforcement, Emergency Management and Fire Rescue agencies throughout Marion County, Florida and adjoining counties by request. As a request, the Team supplies certified Search and Rescue Technicians (NASAR Search and Rescue Technician III) to search, locate and assist in the rescue or recovery of a lost, missing or incapacitated persons upon the request of any official agency. We work day or night, under any all-terrain conditions were the operation can safely be done. The Team also provides SAR training for fellow rescue workers and preventive search and rescue programs and emergency preparedness for schools and civic groups
