Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds (HART)

HART has dedicated more than a decade to the plight of Off-Track Thoroughbreds who, after their racing career is over, find themselves facing an often times bleak future. To date we have rescued more than 250 horses. While rescuing these horses we are also rescuing the people in our community who face stress and trauma in their daily lives. Science has proven that through the human/horse connection humans experience many physical and mental health benefits (reduced stress, better coping mechanisims, builds trust and confidence, improved self esteem, and a family who supports their emotional needs).
