https://www.safer-living.org/Mission Statement Safer Living is a Bay area organization whose mission is to provide security, stability, and resilience to change entire communities. Our vision is for healthy houses and safe communities for all. Safer Living strives to ensure that everyone may have a safe place to call home, free of blight and crime. Safer Living provides critical home repairs, including disaster recovery and crime prevention measures, to Florida residents who otherwise could not afford them. Since our inception, Safer Living has helped hundreds of families with repairs, security, education, hurricane supplies, and affordable housing opportunities. Our summary of activities includes. • Short-term recovery – muck, gut, roadway clearing, supplies. • Long Term recovery- rehab • Referral services to include case management. • Pet resources- food, shelter etc.
