Florida Voices for Animals
http://www.floridavoicesforanimals.orgFlorida Voices for Animals (FVA) mission is two-fold: 1) educate the public about the abuses that animals endure and what the public can do to help them 2) promote veganism since this helps the animals, earth and people all at the same time. We host the annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest which a free event to the public with live music, kid's zone, food cooking demos, vegan food vendors & vegan merchandise vendors. We also host the annual ThanksVegan Potluck which enables people to celebrate the holiday with causing the death to any animal. This is held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa located in Temple Terrace. We also hold peaceful protests at circuses with live animals, pet stores which sell animals from puppy mills, greyhound race tracks, horse racing tracks, rodeos, anti-fur protests at stores selling furs. We also do many tabling events like Humane Society of Tampa Bay's Bark In The Park, EcoFest, Eckerd College, Central Florida Earth Day, Central Florida Veg Fest, Sarasota Vegan Street Fest, St Pete College.
