Lemondrop was founded in 2011 with the goal to help those who needed it most, whether human or animal.
Lemondrop Productions Inc (dba Lemondrop Farm Sanctuary & Community Outreach) is a national 501c3 NonProfit, who partners with businesses and individuals who have a passion for helping feed, clothe and care for people in need. We are most passionate about reaching low income families and individuals, single parent homes, elderly, at risk people, transient, homeless and veterans in need, in Tallahassee Florida and Pomona CA their surrounding areas. Olmsted County, Minnesota is our newest location.
We help provide for more than 3000 people total, each week, across our locations.
Lemondrop collects clothing and household items and distributes them to homeless, needy families, veterans or single parents. Unlike other non-profits who sell their clothing and shoe donations at a thrift or outlet store, our donations go directly into the hands of those who need it, without any charge, money or favors required. ALL of our volunteers are 100% unpaid – we do what we do because we believe in helping those in need. Any monetary donations made to Lemondrop go directly to operating costs. No money ever goes to fundraising, marketing or salaries.
In Tallahassee Florida we have been partnering with local businesses, churches and other nonprofit charities since 2013 to bring food and clothing to people who are experiencing financial difficulties and food insecurity. We collect and distribute through distribution points in Tallahassee, and individual Volunteers who go directly to homeless, shut ins, disabled, elderly and/or needy families who have no access to transportation. In 2024 we opened our premier Clothing Closet Boutique, offering free clothing to anyone who needs it.
