Organization Profile
Hernando Youth League - Brooksville Softball Division
https://hylsoftball.comOur purpose is to develop players, build character and maintian a love for the game. Our youth volunteer mission involves the Mentor in Softball Program (MIS) where teens in the community work directly as volunteer team mentors throught the season with the younger division players. Our second volunteer mission is the role of a "Buddy" in our Babe Ruth Bambino Buddy Ball program. Buddies work directly with our challenged or special needs athletes by assisting them as a Buddy during their games. Being a "Buddy" allows our Buddy Ball athletes to be part of organized sports and enjoy the game while promoting fitness and social interaction.
